How does the machine work?

Endermologie uses rollers and gentle suctioning to deeply massage your affected areas, increasing the circulation by 200%, compared with 60% for manual massage. Endermologie® helps your body to expel toxins and abnormal water buildup while stretching the connective fibers under the skin that have grown lax.

The dimpled appearance of the skin is caused by fat globules and lax connective tissue that have been pushed toward the skin's surface.

 
   
Will the treatment hurt?
Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, however treatment should never be painful.

Most clients find it a relaxing and pleasant experience, similar to a deep massage. As the rollers glide over the body, you will feel a vibration as the skin flexes, accompanied by a tingling and warming of the area, due to the increase in blood flow.

You may also need to visit the bathroom directly after treatment as your system is starting to rid itself of toxins, fat deposits and excess fluid. This is due to the lymphatic system being stimulated – don’t worry, this is a good sign as it shows the treatment is working!

   
What will I wear during a session?
Endermowear is a specially designed body stocking that is worn to allow the Endermologie treatment head to glide over the body and insures optimal hygiene.
Can the technique actually get rid of "Cottage Cheese"

What results can I expect?

How many treatments before I begin to see results?
It takes anywhere from 6 to 10 treatments to see external results. Internally on a cellular level, immediate results are happening. Anatomically speaking, we must improve from the inside out. Endermologie is a very gradual process, but when you see the results you get in a 2 to 3 month period, it's amazingly a short period of time for such improvement.
 
How often will I receive Treatments?
It is mandatory the first 3 weeks you come twice a week. After that, it is mandatory to come once a week until you reach you plateau, which means, you have stopped improving. Keep in mind you can come up to 2 times a week throughout for faster results.
 
Is the treatment comfortable?
It's a relaxing and pleasant massage-like treatment that will be individually adjusted to your comfort level.
 
Do I have to follow any diet or exercise guidelines?
It is necessary to drink plenty of water and keep active to maximize your results. You will see results without a healthy diet and exercise, but you will realize the results quicker and keep them longer with proper diet and exercise. Understand that Endermologie will give you something that just diet and exercise has not given.
 
How qualified is the person giving me the treatment?
Joan is certified through LPG, the manufacture of Endermologie, a licensed massage therapist and has been practicing for six years.
 
Does everyone receive the same treatment?
You will receive a treatment based on your specific body type, with a concentration on problem areas. It is imperative to have an overall body treatment in each session for the benefit of stimulated circulation and the most effective results.
 

If you exercise and eat right, do you still need endermologie?
Remember Endermologie goes beyond what diet and exercise can do and yet eating right and exercising will go beyond what Endermologie can do. It is up to the individual as to what results they are looking for. I've given personal trainers results they have never been able to achieve. I've given many people who exercises and eats healthy 80% of the time, results they have never had in their life before.
